My intention was to do a reaction of this as far back as April, but I opted to do HOTD instead. SISU has to be one of the best actioners I've seen in recent times. It's cinematic (visually tells the story) the dialogue is lean, the production design was gorgeous and cleverly handled, and it didn't have an over-bloated run time. It was the beautiful, old-school run time of 1hr 30mins. A lot of these films now just waste my damn time. It was also a celebration of the GRINDHOUSE and EXPLOITATION movie genres, and it was handled perfectly because it didn't try to spoof an ridicule what came before. Jorma Tommila and Aksel Hennie were two heavyweight actors whose filmographies I'm now eager to explore. Anyway...
