Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal promised to revive the Yamuna river and to clean it in the coming years. He promised in 2015 that Yamuna will be cleaned in next 5 years. It's 2021, and Yamuna is still waiting to get completely cleaned. The Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party promised of a clean Yamuna even in last assembly elections in 2020. MOJO Story's Neelabh sets out to understand how the Kejriwal government is trying to accomplish the target and to fulfilling this election promise. We talked to several stakeholders including people who are into the cleaning drive, who are overlooking the project and the experts involved. We also bring to you the update on the ongoing cleaning work of Yamuna. We also talked to a few citizens who were caught in our camera throwing stuffs in the river to know without their contribution, how is the goal going to be achieved. Experts told MOJO Story that the project needs more manpower and it has to be carried out on a warfoot level.
