🕵️‍♂️ HOW I FOUND VIDME.IO A fan of my channel reached out with a tip: a suspicious platform called Vidme.io was about to launch on June 6, claiming people could “get paid to watch videos.” Sound familiar? It should — it reeks of VidiLook-style nonsense, where fake earnings and affiliate funnels are dressed up as innovation. He also told me the platform was co-founded by Mike Popovich, a former Amway Diamond turned prosperity preacher, now paired up with Chris Miller, the man behind Fit Soda. The fan even sent me Zoom links, affiliate dashboards, and income estimator videos that screamed multi-level marketing. 🎭 THE ZOOM MEETING THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING So, I joined one of their live Zoom meetings hosted by someone calling himself just “Patrick.” No last name, no accountability. When I tried to sign up for Vidme.io using Patrick’s name as my “sponsor,” the system instantly autofilled his full name and photo — a shocking data privacy failure. Worse still, I realized you could search by any letter and expose the entire database of registered members. That's not just sloppy — it’s dangerous. During the call, I asked critical questions about the platform's legitimacy. Instead of honest answers, they deflected, attacked, and questioned me. Classic MLM behavior. 💸 FANTASY EARNINGS, REAL DECEPTION Vidme.io sells itself as a social platform where “everyone gets paid to participate.” In reality, it's a three-tier pyramid dressed up as a “two-tier affiliate model.” HERE’S THEIR PITCH: 20% for each person you directly refer 12% from your referrals’ referrals And if you get 10 referrals? You “unlock” a 25% check-matching bonus Sound familiar? That’s because they’re selling the opportunity, not the product. And the product itself? Vague “exclusive access” to creators you’ve never heard of. 📉*THEIR WEBSITE, VIDEOS & PLATFORM ARE A MESS* Even their official homepage video — barely 90 seconds long — struggled to stream without buffering. For a company built around content and creators, that’s embarrassing. Their YouTube channel? 1.3K subscribers and 41K total views. Their social pages? Dead silent. No big names, no partnerships, no evidence of credibility. And let’s not forget: the original Vidme.com was a legit video platform that shut down in 2017.
