This seems like the side game that the original dev was making when they decided to go with the original style instead. Rampage Edition is pure action, with some frustrating platforming thrown in. Seems cool at first, but wears thin very quickly. The stage where you ride the ostrich dino seems to go on forever. Then there's the fatal flaw: Raptor Rapids. What were they thinking?!? This thing is terrible to both look at and play. Of course the Dr. and raptor play differently but the stages are nearly identical. Thankfully the game is super short... Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for the Sega Genesis is a side-scrolling action game that picks up after the events of the original Jurassic Park game. In this sequel, players can choose to play as Dr. Grant or a Raptor, each offering a different gameplay experience. As Dr. Grant, players use a variety of weapons to fend off dinosaurs and InGen mercenaries while navigating through dense jungles, collapsing buildings, and high-tech facilities. As the Raptor, the gameplay is faster and more feral, focusing on agility and melee attacks as you hunt down enemies and avoid capture.
