Banorët e fshatit Gur i Bardhë, Qarku Dibër organizuan protestën e rradhës në mbrojtje të lumit Mat nga shkatërrimi i hidrocentraleve të planifikuar të ndërtohen në zonë. EcoAlbania, mbështetëse e protestës, diskutoi me banorët mbi ndikimet që kanë HEC-et në këtë zonë dhe u tregua e gatshme t’i ofronte ndihmën dhe ekspertizën e saj. Projektet planifikohen të ndërtohen në Përroin e Sheshit dhe Dishit, degë të lumit Mat, në fshatin Gur i Bardhë, një nga 100 fshatrat turistik të shpallur nga qeveria. --- Local community of Gur i Bardhë village (Dibër Region), organized a protest to defend Mat River from the hydropower plants. EcoAlbania, as a supporter of the protest, discussed about HPPs impacts in this area and NGO’s representatives were ready to provide their specialized help and expertise. The projects are planned to be built on the Sheshi and Dishi Stream, branches of the Mat River, in the Gur i Bardhë village, one of the 100 tourist villages announced by the government.
