RARE! Montreal Metro train switches tracks after leaving Saint-Michel station towards Snowdon 🔵

Here's a very rare event in the Montreal Metro! For today and tomorrow - Saturday, May 3, 2025 and Sunday, May 4, 2025, the drop-off platform at Saint-Michel metro station will also serve as the boarding platform for the Snowdon direction! This means you can stay on the train at Saint-Michel and then experience a rare track switch once the train enters the tunnel while on board. Usually the train drops off passengers off at the platform, then goes into the track switch tunnel. Then the train switches in the track switch tunnel and THEN picks up passengers on the platform going the other direction. For this video, the train drops off passengers on the same platform it picks up passengers and THEN switches AFTER leaving the station. The reason being is that they are doing work in the tunnel where the track switch usually occurs. Is this related to the Blue Line extension? Possibly Here's the video of what happens!
