They call it the 'Master Grower's Curse'. Bud Rot or Botrytis. The last days before harvesting you should be diligent in checking your cannabis plants multiple times in a day. Or the insect leaves its waste inside the bud which will cause the tip of your bud to die off and turn gray or brown. You need to cut out these buds immediately. The spores that botrytis will produce can move through a plant in just a couple of days if left untreated. The tip of your bud is now dead. There is no saving it. You have to just cut it out and move on. Do not leave a bud with bud rot on your plant. It will spread FAST! Wash and sterilize your hands and all cutting shears before touching any other part of the plant.
