GBO2 gameplay featuring the Mark II on the lunar debris field map. The buffs to the MK 2 made gave the suit shield break mastery, tuned up it's damage and bulk slightly, but tinkered with it's knuckle sealant dropping it's reload to under 15 seconds and gave it a new 'stun' in the form of dummy balloons on a 10 second reload. Whilst the suit hasn't become a new frontline menace like the grandpa, it's new style of gameplay is that of a flanking 'stealth' general. With the dummy balloons fast reload and forced stealth on use granting the suit some significant tactical options on the appropriate maps. Stealth is even stronger in space where lines of attack can be more obtuse and keeping track of an opponent that's more maneuverable without radar reliance can be quite difficult. The Lvl 4 mark 2 gets to take advantage of both a smaller size and overtuning mobility boosters to increase it's serviceable boost speed to considerable levels, with most other suits requiring themselves to be overturned or special state boosts to match it's speed. And now that it's no slouch in the bulk department for it's size it can be a potent tool to create openings in enemy teams flanks and weak points. Lunar debris field also has plenty of rocks that disguise the dummy balloon allowing the ruse even greater chance of delaying enemy reaction, giving the high speed Mk 2 the windows of opportunity to surprise attack or make a speedy getaway. I'd say the Mk 2's buffs whilst a little disappointing for long time fans make sense given the reception of grampas buffs, where the general superiority of the gramps leaves many generalist type MS feeling out of date by comparison. The Mark II maintains something of it's own niche with these buffs, though since it revolves so heavily around this new weapon many may struggle to apply it effectively at first.
