Meet Sports Specialist Dr. Bryant Walrod | Ohio State Sports Medicine

Dr. Bryant Walrod is an assistant professor of family medicine within the sports medicine program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He specializes in primary care sports medicine, sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal health. He is also a team physician for The Ohio State University's athletic department. ""The most rewarding thing I do is getting the patient back to their level of activity,"" he said. ""It could be something simple like getting them into a 5K, or even completing a full marathon or an Ironman."" Sports are a big part of life for Dr. Walrod, who has practiced medicine for more than 15 years. He has completed multiple marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and he was a high-level collegiate boxer.
