We were incredibly lucky to have BEASTS join us on their first UK tour, November 2026. BEASTS are a 3 piece band from a post industrial city - Charleroi, Belgium. It was a humbling and beautiful experience to meet people with a similar socio-economic history. The story is world wide... People who helped build the world only to be forgotten and left to struggle. Ultimately we stick together, like we do in the grassroots music industry. Blending genres such as punk, noise, rap and doom in a very personal way, BEASTS is Antoine Romeo's (ex-run SOFA) first solo project. With an incisive debut album, The Shearing (La Base ASBL/Rockerill Records, April 18th 2025), is drenched in subjects such as immigration, intergenerational trauma, class war and social reproduction. BEASTS's music is cathartic, visceral and uncompromised. To shape this project, the artist from Charleroi, who grew up in a large family of Italian immigrants in the 90's, got together with Ghentian drummer Tijl Van de Casteele (Whorses) and Tournaisian bassist François Hantson (Feel, Mingawash). En Francais: Mélange singulier de punk, noise, rap et de doom, BEASTS est le premier projet solo d’Antoine Romeo (ex-run SOFA). Avec un premier album incisif, The Shearing (La Base ASBL/Rockerill Records, 18 avril 2025), est imprégné de thèmes tels que l’immigration, les traumatismes intergénérationnels, la lutte des classes et la reproduction sociale. BEASTS propose une musique cathartique, viscérale et sans compromis. Pour réaliser ce projet, l’artiste Carolo, qui a grandi dans une grande famille d’immigrés Italiens dans les années 90, s’est entouré du batteur Gantois Tijl Van de Casteele (Whorses) et du bassiste Tournaisien François Hantson (Feel, Mingawash).
