Santo Domingo baby! I walked the entire Colonial District Zone, checked numerous barbershops, and drank plenty of double espressos and local Dominican food. I ended up choosing New York Barberia for a haircut, beard trim, beard color air brushing & face massage. Traveling Dominican Republic has been a real joy. The people are kind and friendly. What did it feel like being in Santo Domingo? It felt kind of similar to Washington Heights in New York, but with beach weather -- people sitting outside playing dominoes, hanging out on the street, and lots of socializing.
