This will be my final update for 2024. Thank you to everyone who watched my videos this year—I really appreciate it. Since it’s getting colder, I decided to head west in Japan. My plan was to visit the major cities of Shikoku, so after crossing the sea, I took a ferry from Tokushima to Wakayama, then traveled through Osaka, Shiga, Gifu, Aichi, and finally arrived in Shizuoka Prefecture. I’m almost back to the Tokyo metropolitan area. In Fuji City, there are bar districts around Fuji Station and Yoshiwara-Honchō Station (where this video was filmed). The area originally developed around Yoshiwara-juku, a post station on the old Tokaidō route during the Edo period. It was initially located near JR Yoshiwara Station, but after being damaged by high tides, it was relocated twice, eventually settling in Yoshiwara-Honchō.
