If I Could Tell Her - Starscream and Windblade animatic

I know, it was about time I uploaded another video! I've made a few animations and things here and there and thought it was time I started sharing them. I've loved this song from Dear Evan Hansen for so long but I've never liked the original context of it. But then I realized it fit my version of IDW Starscream so perfectly I couldn't resist making video about it. Just so you know: the storyline here is not meant to perfectly match the storyline of the comics, partially since I haven't read all of them but partially because I wanted to tell a story with a slightly less toxic version of Starscream, one where he doesn't actually torture or attack Windblade at any point because bruh that was messed up. (Also a version where he doesn't die at the end or lose his kingship) In my story, Starscream always secretly admired Windblade's steadfast dedication to truth and righteousness. He wished he could overcome his fear of being betrayed and overthrown and find the courage and grace she exuded. But his distrusting, abrasive self kept her at a distance, even when she tried her best to work with him as a loyal assistant and delegate from her home planet. However, when Bee is stuck as a ghost for a certain period of time, he observes these feelings of admiration and perhaps even romantic affection that Starscream felt towards her, but he could never convince Star to open up to her about them. When his spark is eventually revived and he returned to Cybertron's capital, he grows close to Windblade and eventually tells her Starscream's true feelings. Unbenownst to them both, Starscream, ever eager to eavesdrop on conversations, overhears what they say and is mortified. But also flabbergasted to find that the femme actually has been harboring feelings for him as well. Perhaps this lonely king could find himself a queen after all.
