Why nobody is buying this Supercharged Ninja H2 SX SE

Despite all the great things about this Ninja, It hardly moves in the dealerships. Why? Let's find an answer to this question today on Emad Reviews. Link to this bike (if still available): https://bellevuemotosports.com/Motorc... Link to Bellevue Motosports: https://bellevuemotosports.com/ You get LED lights with auto high beam function, blind spot monitoring assist, grip warmers, adaptive cruise control, collusion warning, keyless go, various ride modes, and a couple of other features that we did not have enough time to dive into like the Vehicle hold assist that engages the brakes when you are fully stopped even if you let go of the brake lever and the tire pressure monitoring system or TPMS that shows you if your tire pressure is low. The bike has little storage as is but there are mounting points on the tail of the bike for Kawaski OEM Panniers. This is truly the most sophisticated motorcycle I have come across Speaking of pricing, the this bike is very expensive. In 2023 in retailed for $28 thousand dollars and in 2025 the models are selling for 29,100 US Dollars. As for reliability and parts and labor availability, Kawaski is generally a very reliable brand. However, by the sound of it, it is fairly accurate to say that supercharged Kawasaki’s are slightly less reliable than their naturally aspirated counterparts due to the added strain on the engines. These engines are not necessarily fortified for the enormous amount of additional power they make. Same engine putting a lot more power usually means a less reliable combination. The Ninja H2 SX SE gets a 17 out of 20 in the commuter category. Now onto the Performance/Dope Factor Category. The SX SE Has o Traction control o Electronically adjusted engine valves o Intelligent ABS o Cornering assist o Adjustable engine brake control o Electronic suspensions o Launch control o And a quick shifter So there is no shortage of performance oriented features here It weighs 590 lbs which is considered pretty heavy for a motorcycle. Granted it is a touring bike and not a supersport agile motorcycle, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it is challenging to maneuver it around town or tight corners. It’s got a lot of power. roughly 180 Horsepower at the rear wheel and 101 lbs-ft of torque sure get this chunky bike up and running very quickly. As for the design choices and marketplace, it feels very premium. The front end design is very sharp in my opinion but the taillight section looks a bit bland and outdated. There are 2 variations available with minor mechanical differences. Although it isn’t a special edition motorcycle, I’d be lying to myself if I consider this bike a completely average and normal motorcycle. It is supercharged after all which is unique in and of itself. The Ninja H2 SX SE gets a 14 out of 20 for the overall Performance and Dope Factor Category. And it sits here on the list of other sport bikes I have reviewed: Following the release of the original Ninja H2, Kawasaki learned a harsh truth: making a supercharged motorcycle lightweight is virtually impossible. Rather than continue to fight physics in the supersport segment, where every ounce matters, Kawasaki pivoted to a category where weight is far less critical to the rider's experience: touring. And that’s when this Ninja H2 SX SE was born—a bike where the supercharged engine truly finds its purpose. It’s designed to carry you, your passenger, your luggage, and an impressive range of electronics with you up the mountain And when the curves come calling, it’s more than capable of carving canyons with precision and ease with over 200 Horsepower and 100 ft.lbs of torque. So, why is not selling like hot cakes? Well… could it be the price point? Is it too expensive? Is it too technologically advanced? Do people not like supercharged engines? Is it too heavy? I DON”T KNOW, If you do, Let us know in the comments section. Cheers
