MT. ZION METHODIST CHURCH HOLDS FIRST MONTHLY MEETING OF “CLUB 70”

The Mt. Zion Methodist Church at Dome Born Again has held the first monthly meeting of its social welfare initiative dubbed “Club 70,” aimed at promoting the holistic well-being of members aged 70 years and above. Although the programme has already been launched, the meeting marked the maiden monthly engagement, bringing together elderly members for health screening, physical activity, and spiritual fellowship. Under the initiative, members benefit from regular medical screenings targeting common age-related conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as checks on blood sugar levels, weight, and height. The programme also includes light physical exercises involving the arms, legs, chest, and fingers to help maintain mobility and general fitness, alongside mindfulness sessions and devotional gatherings to nurture both body and soul.
