Jenna has surgery.

Jenna, our daughter had high functioning autism. She lives with us and currently loves living aboard our boat. She has sufferred many years with her monthly cycles. Years ago she came to me asking for a hysterectomy. She fully understood all the ramifications of this procedure ( no monthly periods, no babies and No going back). After years of begging for the surgery and multiple treatment trials we ( Jenna, her MD and both parents) decided this was her best option. Jenna asked if we could video tape and post her surgery experiences. The day finally came and this video shares her thoughts and experiences around the partial hysterectomy. Her doctor had Child Life Specialist ( CLS) assist with explaining things and reassuring Jenna just prior to surgery. This was a great idea.
