I offer my opinion on my favorite modifications I've made to my Arctic Cat ATV over the years, and would install again on any quad I purchase in the future, regardless of brand and model. To make it easier for you to discover products for your own All-Terrain Vehicle, here are links to my favorite products: Skidplates: I have had great luck working with Ricochet Offroad Armor for some of the skidplates found on this machine, as well as on my UTV. Consider talking with them for your skidplate needs first. https://ricochetoffroad.com/ Shocks: For this machine, I went with Elka Stage 3 shocks for my suspension needs. I found them to be very informative when making my decisions concerning how I'd like my machine to ride, and I would consider ordering from them again. On the UTV side, I have done business with Bandit UTV, and those folks are awesome. I'm not sure that they're still available for this particular machine, but considering they made them at one time, perhaps a phone call would still get you a set. That said, there are many manufacturers of chromoly tie-rods these days. If American Star doesn't have it, do some searches and somebody should make a set for your bike. https://amstarmanufacturing.com/ Clutching: Speedwerx did all of my motor and transmission work on this machine, including my clutching. I have since done business with them for some of my UTV products, and will happily work with them again when the need arises. They're an excellent group of folks! If you have a Honda ATV or a manual transmission machine, clutching isn't an option for you. https://speedwerx.com/ Footpegs: This was something I was unaware of existing until I talked to Daryl Rath about how he set up his racing machines during his time as an Arctic Cat factory racer during the Quad Terrain Challenge years. When I asked him about getting a set, he built these for me. Daryl is an awesome dude, and extremely knowledgeable. If you're looking for footpegs, I recommend talking with him first. If he doesn't offer it, he may be able to build it for you. He's been in the business a long time. https://www.rathstore.com/ Steering damper: Another mod I learned about from Daryl Rath. He built me the mounting brackets that are on my machine, and George from Precision Racing Products helped me out with what setup I needed. At the time, I was the first recreational rider to install this Precision Steering Damper onto an Arctic Cat ATV. Since that time, George has gone on to offer kits for many utility quads out there. Yours may be one of them. Give him a call and find out. https://precision-rp.com/ Handguards: I like tough handguards because I end up moving through alot of foliage and tree branches. I prefer handguards that mount at two locations on my bars, but due to mounting location limitations, there was not enough room for those on this machine. I went with Acerbis Uniko ATV Handguards because they mount at the outside of the bar, but still have a solid aluminum bracket to resist bending and offer excellent protection for your hands.
