HOW TO GET TO SIPADAN-MABUL RESORT From either Kota Kinabalu, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, fly to Tawau, where you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to Semporna Town (1h20mn), then it’s a 45mn speedboat ride to Mabul Island. The daily boat transfer departure times from Semporna Jetty to the resort are: 10 am, 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm. On arrival day, try to book a flight landing in Tawau airport latest by 2:00pm (or earlier) to be able to transfer to Mabul on the same day. For departures, try to book a flight out of Tawau earliest by 11 am (or later).
