The cold January air rests upon the open fields and rolling hills of the amish paradise. But on the Strasburg railroad, not all are at rest. Smoke billows along the line as a ghost of the past gets a shining spotlight. On the night of January 11th, 2025, we join Dynamo Production on their highly anticipated "O. Winston Link" night time photo charter at the Strasburg railroad. The basis of this charter was to celebrate the anniversary of the O. Winston Link museum, and to recreated some of Link's greatest work. This photo charter's purpose was to recreate a mixed train along the Norfolk and Western's Abingdon Branch. The most common locomotive seen on the Abingdon Branch would be the famous M Class. Being a 4-8-0 wheel arrangement, these classy engines served the N&W for years, having 125 constructed. In this video, we see M class #429 as the spotlight engine. Lets follow the 429 as she makes her way from Nella to Blacksburg.
