"Half man, half plant. A goblin's favorite food." Have you ever wondered what happens when you have a director who can't speak English try to direct a crew of wannabe actors who can't act? What if you add a screenplay written by that same director's also non-English speaking wife and the fact that the screenplay was inspired by her friends suddenly becoming vegetarian? Add a bunch of little people walking around in potato sacks and cheap rubber Halloween masks and you get Troll 2. Oh, boy. Where do we start? A movie so bad yet has such a huge following that it is constantly played in theaters across the country for Midnight Movie Madness showings, as well as spawning the award winning documentary, "Best Worst Movie." This "movie" has it all: Trolls that are actually goblins, the spirit of a dead grandfather who can apparently freeze time, and even some witchy popcorn sex.
