#eggfriedrice #easyeggrecioe 🍳🥕🥗 Desi–Chinese Egg Fried Rice A comforting, flavour-packed egg fried rice made with fluffy rice, colourful vegetables, soft scrambled eggs and classic Indo-Chinese seasoning. ⏱ Total Time: 40 minutes Serves: 4 hungry people 🧺 Ingredients 🍚 For Cooking Rice Dubar rice – 2½ cups Water – 5 cups Salt – 1½ tsp Oil – 1 tsp 🥕 Vegetables (finely chopped) Carrot – 1 medium (½ cup) Cabbage – 1½ cups Green peas – ½ cup French beans – ½ cup Capsicum – 1 medium (¾ cup) Onion – 2 medium (1½ cups) Tomato – 1 small, finely chopped (¼ cup) 🍳 Eggs Eggs – 4 Salt – a pinch Pepper – ¼ tsp 🌶 Sauces & Seasoning Oil – 4 tbsp (total) Soya sauce – 2½ tbsp Vinegar – 1½ tbsp Fried rice masala – 2 tsp Black pepper powder – 1 tsp Salt – ½ tsp (adjust after tasting) 👩🍳 Method 🍚 Step 1: Cook the Rice Wash Dubar rice thoroughly. Boil water with salt and oil, add rice and cook till 90% done—grains should be long, soft yet separate. Drain immediately and spread on a plate. Allow it to cool completely. ✨ Perfect rice = non-sticky fried rice. 🍳 Step 2: Scramble the Eggs Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok. Add beaten eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Scramble gently on medium flame till soft and fluffy. Remove and keep aside. 🔥 Step 3: Stir Fry the Veggies Heat remaining 3 tbsp oil in the same wok on high flame. Add onions and sauté till slightly translucent. Add carrots, beans and peas—stir fry for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and capsicum, toss on high flame for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomato and sauté briefly till just soft. 🌶 Step 4: Seasoning Add: Soya sauce Vinegar Fried rice masala Black pepper Salt Mix quickly for a few seconds so the sauces coat the vegetables evenly. 🍚 Step 5: Combine Everything Add cooled rice and scrambled eggs to the wok.
