York, Clifford's Tower to York Minster, Saturday 16th August 2025

In this video, we further explore the stunning City of York and take an early morning walk from Clifford's Tower, heading up through Castlegate, where we take in the Blue Boar public house - where Dick Turpin's body was laid out after he was hanged at York Tyburn. We then walk up through Coppergate and The Shambles, heading towards Goodramgate where we take a walk to Monk Bar. We then meander back through the city centre, taking in College Street and Deangate until we end up at York Minster, just in time to hear the Minster bells chime 8am - such a glorious sound and a great start to the day!
