In First Corinthians 3:9–17, Paul reminds us that the church is God’s building, and we must be careful how we build. Jesus Christ is the only foundation. What we build on Him will either endure like gold, silver, and precious stones, or be burned up like wood, hay, and straw. One day, our work will be revealed and tested. It’s not about size, programs, or personalities. It’s about building for eternity. As Second Corinthians 5:9–10 teaches, we will all stand before Christ and give an account. Are you building on the right foundation? Are you investing in what will last? Be careful how you build.
