State Level Consultation on Child Protection 30 March, 2025

#Gayatri_Seva_Sansthan (#GSS ) has been dedicated to integrated human development since its inception in 1987, with a strong focus on the protection of #child_rights. In its early years, GSS worked extensively to provide primary education to children in remote and marginalized tribal regions. Over time, the organization expanded its initiatives to ensure comprehensive child protection across Rajasthan. In collaboration with the government, local communities, and national & international agencies, GSS has achieved significant milestones in this domain. Our interventions have strengthened key child protection mechanisms, including the capacity building of Panchayat Level Child Protection Committees (PLCPCs), Block Level Child Protection Committees (BLCPCs), and School Management Committees (SMCs). Notably, GSS developed Rajasthan’s first module, Buniyaad, to guide the orientation of PLCPCs and BLCPCs. We continuously strive to innovate and enhance child protection interventions, incorporating new strategies to address emerging challenges. In line with our commitment to achieving the #Sustainable Development Goals #SDGs under the principle of "Leaving No One Behind," GSS, in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan organizing a one-day #State_Level_Consultation on ‘Harnessing Technology & Adolescents for #Child_Protection.’ This #consultation will bring together key stakeholders from government and non-government organizations to share insights and develop a comprehensive state-level action plan.
