After leaving the Gibb River free camp behind, we roll into a brand new favourite and this one’s a beauty! We spend a few wholesome days at Hann River with good mates, kids splashing and laughing, and the fridges slowly running dry making it a stay to remember. But as always on the Gibb, the road calls. It’s time to pack up, and point the rig towards one of the Kimberley’s most iconic stops, Manning Gorge. From riverside camps and rugged tracks to family moments under the Kimberley sun, this leg of the journey has it all. This is the adventure, the challenge, and the reward of life on the Gibb River Road. We acknowledge the traditional custodians and owners of the land where we travel, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise their deep connection to Country and role in caring for it over thousands of years.
