Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. The day is gloomy and full of memories. A hero of faith and a mighty warrior has laid down his armour to join the other saints beyond the curtain of time. Taken from his loved ones, he's gone with blessed hope of seeing him again one day. His name is Hama Blessing Chesa, pastor at Eastlea Tabernacle, one of the largest churches of the End Time Message in Zimbabwe. From Monday 25th of March 1957 to Monday 29th of January 2018, the journey that lasted 61 years was exceptional. Pastor Blessing died after drowning in the dam where he usually came for fishing. That was his art and hobby, he was always attracted to doing it. On that day, he went as usual with his fellow brothers seeking to catch the big fish he liked, less did he know that God decided it to be a one way fishing trip. God knew, by omniscience, that it was the way to recall His servant back home. So he crossed Jordan. And his lifeless body was discovered above the waters 24 hours after he drowned. On Sunday, 28th of January 2018, at Eastlea Tabernacle, just a day before his death, pastor Blessing Chesa gave his last sermon. He reset the order in the church by presenting new deacons and renewing other committee members mandates. And he chose the title "principles of the restoration " as his subject, without knowing that it was his last stand. Three days later, his coffin is put at the same spot. The church is emotional, sheeps are troubled, their beloved shepherd has gone to be with the Lord. More than a thousand believers are gathered in the audience around his body for a last farewell. The ceremony is showered by a few glorious and touchy speeches. His biological father, his wife, his daughters, his unique son as well as his colleagues all make a turn around his body quietly. Emotions and sadness are visible on everyone's face. The body spent the previous night at the family's residence and believers were up the whole night singing praises to God. The same was done by many believers around the world. Like here in Cape Town, saints came together at El-Bethel Tabernacle of pastor Timothy Eteta in the living memory of this great servant of God. Pastors and ministers from everywhere came to Harare. Joseph Branham, Voice of God CEO and pastor of Branham Tabernacle also showed his compassion and sent a bunch of flowers and his contribution to support the family. The coffin was opened just before leaving the church for the burial location, and the public made a turn around the body while Trinidad musicians were playing. The burial took place at Glen Forest Memorial Park, the afternoon of Saturday 3rd of February. Soldier of the cross, you fought the good battle, you won your race, you kept the faith, a crown of righteousness shall be given to you.
