Train Simulator 2021 | Pacific Surfliner - Metrolink EMD F59PH - Oceanside to Orange (IEOC Tr. 800)

Recently I uploaded a video in which I drove the Coaster EMD F59PHi from San Diego Santa Fe Depot to Oceanside, California. This video is - in a way - a continuation of that Coaster run, albeit on a Metrolink commuter train. Today we'll be driving Metrolink EMD F59PH No. 853 on a run from Oceanside to Orange, covering a distance of 53.6 miles and stopping at all stations except San Clemente Pier: San Clemente San Juan Capistrano Laguna Niguel / Mission Viejo Irvine Tustin Santa Ana Orange The locomotive is hauling a rake of six Bombardier Bi-Level cars, and is running on the Inland Empire / Orange County service to Riverside Downtown. On the way to Orange we will pass some EMD F59PHi engines on Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner service. In real life the F59PH locomotives have largely been replaced by newer EMD F125s, and Metrolink have replaced most of their Bi-Level cars with newer Hyundai-Rotem cars (those are - in my opinion - one of the ugliest cab-cars ever built). As for the Surfliner F59PHi engines, they've been sold to Metra in Chicago and replaced by Siemens SC-44 Chargers. If you're new to the channel, and you like the videos, please consider subscribing.
