What was earlier limited to Bengaluru will now be expanded to municipal corporations, city municipalities, town municipalities, and town panchayats. This move is expected to regularize lakhs of properties and unlock massive economic value.Under the B Khata to A Khata scheme, property owners with unauthorized layouts and buildings will be able to legalize their assets by paying a regularization fee. According to official estimates, the government expects a revenue of nearly ₹15,000 crore through this initiative.
