Have you ever wondered what life is like on one of the most remote Pacific Islands? The beautiful island of Atiu in the Southern Cook Islands is the second most visited island in the outer southern group (after Aitutaki) - but this unique Pacific spot has a population of only 366 residents... Don't be put off by those figures however, as there is plenty to do on the island! We spent our days exploring the incredible Anatakitaki Caves (and swimming in the freshwater underground pool), driving around all the backroads on the island, jumping into the turquoise waters of Atiu Harbour, visiting a Tumunu (a village bar) and joining the locals for a beautiful White Sunday church service.
