Shimgotsav and Konkan have an intimate relationship. Just as there is a Ganeshotsav festival in Konkan, the enthusiasm is also in Shimgotsav. All the servants who have gone for employment in Mumbai are present at the Shimgotsav. Although the festival is celebrated at the same time throughout Konkan, the tradition of each village is different. The first days at Shimgotsav are Holi in the Wadi. Then on the tenth day the village becomes a public home. The Balgopal congregation in the Wadi comes together in the evening and brings Holi to Holikhunt. At night, there are games such as flour and bags, kabaddi. After that, the materials such as the grass, kaval, wood required for burning Holi are collected. Holi is then burned around the Holi by giving a movement in the name of God. At this time, the little ones in the Wadi participate with great enthusiasm. शिमगोत्सव आणि कोकण यांचे अतूट नाते आहे. कोकणात ज्याप्रमाणे गणेशोत्सवाची धूम असते, तसाच उत्साह शिमगोत्सवातही असतो. मुंबईत नोकरी-व्यवसायानिमित्त गेलेले सर्व चाकरमानी शिमगोत्सवाला आवर्जून हजेरी लावतात. संपूर्ण कोकणात हा उत्सव एकाचवेळी साजरा होत असला तरी प्रत्येक गावाची प्रथा-परंपरा वेगळी आहे. शिमगोत्सवात पहिले 9 दिवस हे वाडीतील होळीचे असतात. त्यानंतर दहाव्या दिवशी गावचा सार्वजनिक होम होतो. वाडीतील बालगोपाळ मंडळी संध्याकाळी एकत्र येऊन वाजतगाजत होळीखुंटावर होळी आणतात. रात्री आट्या-पाट्या, कबड्डी असे खेळ होतात. त्यानंतर होळी पेटविण्यासाठी लागणारे गवत, कवळ, लाकडे असे साहित्य जमा केले जाते. त्यानंतर देवाच्या नावाने हाळ्या देत होळीभोवती फेर मारून होळी पेटविली जाते. यावेळी वाडीतील लहानथोर मोठ्या उत्साहाने सहभागी होतात.त्यानुसार फाल्गुन पंचमीला पहिला होम कोकणात लागला असून उत्साह आणि आनंद शिगेला पोहचला आहे. #konkan #shimga #holicelebration #news18lokmat News18 Lokmat is one of the leading YouTube News channels which delivers news from across Maharashtra, India and the world 24x7 in Marathi.
