The Velona Castle, located on a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site (2004), is a restored castle dating back to the 10th / 11th century. Located 1 h45 minutes from Florence and 8 km from Montalcino, the Castle dominates the Val D’Orcia. The Castle has a total of 21 rooms and 21 suites, according to two different concepts: Castle Rooms (in typical Tuscan furniture) and UNESCO View Rooms (contemporary furnishings, with patio/private garden and natural hot thermal water directly from the tap dedicated to their bathtub). Spa of 1500 sqm, 2 connected pools (in/out side) with thermal water, 2 restaurants for dinner (1 gourmet) and 1 for lunch (poolside). Own production of Brunello Wine and Organic Olive Oil (in-house testing).
