In this video, I’m introducing Ahmed, also known as Golden Balance — to shawarma in Qatar. We’re trying shawarma from Jabal Lebanon, one of my personal favourites for street-style shawarma. This is NOT the best shawarma in Qatar according to me..... my top spot actually opens only at noon. We’re sitting outside Shawarma El Khebbes, a newer shawarma joint that serves what I like to call a “gentleman’s shawarma” — cleaner, balanced, premium, and priced higher (20+ QAR). That deserves a separate video, and I’ll talk about it properly soon. This video is about understanding shawarma culture in Qatar: Street shawarma vs gentleman’s shawarma.
