Detailing a DeLorean: First Ceramic-Coated DeLorean?

The DeLorean has become an iconic car in pop-culture largely thanks to its starring role in the Back to the Future series. It has become an item prized by collectors and while it may not be the most enjoyable car to drive, it is absolutely one that is fun to look at. Malco had the opportunity to perform a quick detail on a DeLorean that was slated to go up for sale. This car and its iconic stainless steel finish presents an entirely new set of challenges during a detail when compared to a traditional painted surface. In order to restore the finish to its more traditional sheen while maintaining the look of the metal, we decided to coat in our EPIC Ceramic Coating, which could have very well made this the first ceramic coated DeLorean.
