My Crashed Lamborghini Gets Welded Back Together! Gallardo Rebuild Part 9

👋 Today is a big day for the Lamborghini! After cutting off the old rear quarter panel and installing a brand new one. The panel now needs to get welded into place. So today I have that panel welded onto the car to completely install this part. This was a big job that was out of my skill set so I needed a professional fabricator to tackle welding on the panel. Ryan and I held it in place and he started tacking it together. Once that was done it was time to weld all of the seem closed. Only took a little over an hour but it went well. I did a good job cutting off the old panel and installing the new panel. I spent a lot of time lining up the fender to make sure it would fit perfect. Especially getting the tail light lined up and the other rear components. Now with this rear quarter panel welded in place the car is in one piece! Next step is body shop to smooth out the welds and give it the seamless look it needs, and then onto paint! After crashing my Lamborghini I've put a ton of work into getting this car back to 100% and the was a big step in completing the project!
