Plankton’s first disguise fails, so he returns as Robot Krabs and even bribes Squidward for silence. After distracting the real Mr. Krabs with a rolling penny, the robot tries to coax SpongeBob into revealing the formula, but SpongeBob makes him do a ludicrous secret handshake ritual that takes hours. Eventually SpongeBob gives Robot Krabs a quiz to decide who is real, only to mistakenly choose the robot.
