Olympus OM-1 Photographing the Puffins Elliston Newfoundland. , 300MM F-4, MC20 2x.Subject Detect.

We set out with the intention of documenting the Puffin Colony at Elliston Newfoundland, a stay over at Harry's Harbor was an added bonus. I was able to photograph the Pinnacle in the harbor at sunset, and during the night with Stary Sky focus and Live Comp mode. I find the new menus much easier to navigate especially in the middle of the night. We got fresh well water for our trip to The Bird Sanctuary at Cape St. Mary[s but that[s another trip! My new Olympus OM-1 worked flawlessly. In this video I made use of Subject Detection, Star Focus, Time Lapse, HDR in Camera and with a third party plugin. The 300MM worked just great with or without the MC 20 2x Converter. The video capabilities are improved as well. I have gotten use to the idea of charging the battery and camera as one, safely in my camera case.
