This week on USF Survivor… Fifteen applicants make their way into the Florida wilderness ready to fight the elements and each other for the coveted $200+ cash prize and the title of Sole Survivor. With an impending challenge and the threat of tribal hanging heavy over their heads, both tribes are quickly working to forge bonds and alliances to keep them safe in the early phases of the game. In a brutal tug o’ war style challenge, each tribe is put to the test. Every round, one person from each tribe must step up onto the platform and fight for control over a rope until the other person falls or drops the rope. With each round, the tension grows because whichever tribe has lost the most rounds by the end of the game must face the ultimate consequence: a one way ticket to the first Tribal Council of the season. At the end of the challenge, a winner is declared and that tribe gets sent back to camp to celebrate their victory and enjoy safety… for this round at least. As the losing tribe prepares to head to tribal, there is one lingering question: how, in such a short period of time, do you decide who to send packing? The time for strategizing is over and the tribe must head to Tribal Council and face the daunting task of sending one of their own home. Who will be the first casualty of the game and how will the tribe recover from this early loss?
