1st Night of Christmas Lights at IOA, Hogwarts Lights and The Forbidden Journey Line Queue at Night

It is the very first day of Christmas celebrations at the Universal theme parks in 2020, Saturday, November 14, and we take You for a look at all the Christmas Lights and other new decorations the incredible Universal Team Members put up just the night before. The BIG draw here in Orlando tonight is The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle (28:30), so we take You all the way there via a walk thru Universal CityWalk and Universal's Islands of Adventure (IOA), attaining some astounding vantage points and beautiful "Christmassy" views along the way. Please join us as we enjoy a nighttime Christmas stroll to the castle and then explore the interiors of the castle itself (39:48). Rainbow Unicorn experiences a "Crisis on Christmas" starting immediately after the security checkpoint before entering CityWalk. Haha! The further we walk, the more and more it feels like Christmas. Then we enter IOA and are completely drenched in the Holiday Spirit Atmosphere. After passing through the shops area we head right into Suess Landing. The decor there is especially Lit! Then we proceed thru the sparsely decorated Lost Continent to Hogsmeade where it is perhaps somehow even more fantastic than Suess Landing because of the the gorgeous garland, snow and Christmas tree lighting applied to Hogwarts Castle itself. CHARACTER SIGHTING: Hogwarts Express Conductor 26:35 Diligently, we proceed with the wizards into Hogwarts to enter the line for Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey. Unfortunately, being that it is such a busy Saturday night -- everyone came out to see the first night of lights, the line is MUCH longer than stated -- far too long a wait for us unicorns. But we show You how to "escape" a crowded line situation when it is too long for You. As a park-goer, You should never feel You HAVE TO wait in a long line just because You feel You got "stuck" there and don't want to cause an issue. There is no issue and we show You how easy it is to leave a queue by exiting "against the grain." Then, by the grace of a "magic ticket" from epic Universal Team Member Sam, we get to show You the majority of the queue anyway. Talking paintings and floating candles await us! Wow!
