NEW BEETLE Restoration: Fan Relay

This $500 New Beetle that I purchased at auction has had its share of problems, but little by little, bit by bit, I am restoring this car back to its original working order. In this video, I replace and test the radiator fan relay, which controls the twin radiator fans, but also the electric water pump, which is designed to cool the turbo after engine shutdown. The problem was that the pump was not turning off, or was at best intermittent. This problem is solved by replacing the fan relay... I show you how.
