[LIVE] NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS This morning the Cape of Good Hope SPCA received a disturbing complaint of severe animal cruelty – a dog was allegedly set alight. Inspector Jeffrey Mfini was assigned to investigate the case but was unable to gain access to the property, and had to urgently rush to the Wynberg Magistrates Court to obtain a court in terms of the Animals Protection Act for our team to gain entry the property. Cadet Inspector Rowan Davids waited at the Steenberg premises while Mfini obtained the court order. Chief Inspector Jaco Pieterse joined his team to execute the court order.
