A statement read: ‘We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. ‘Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. ‘We appreciate your support during this difficult time.’ Hana’s cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed. However, on Friday, the wrestler posted a picture of herself with her cat with the troubling caption: ‘Goodbye.’ As reported by Variety, Kimura also recently shared many concerning tweets, in which she posted ‘didn’t want to be a human anymore’. Apparently she was implying that she had been cyber bullied, and wrote: ‘Nearly 100 frank opinions every day. I couldn’t deny that I was hurt. I’m dead. Thank you for giving me a mother. It was a life I wanted to be loved. ‘Thank you to everyone who supported me. I love it. I’m weak, I’m sorry. I don’t want to be a human anymore. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you, everyone. I love you. Bye.’ Hana also alluded to self-harm in a number of tweets. Wrestling was Kimura’s passion, perhaps something in her genes as her mother Kyoko Kimura was also a Japanese pro wrestler. She made her first appearance with Wrestle-1 in 2016 and won her maiden title, the JWP Junior Championship, the same year. Three years later, she left Wrestle-1 to join Stardom, where she was leading the Tokyo Cyber Squad faction. During her time at Stardom, she won the Goddess of Stardom championship and the Artist of Stardom championship (twice). Hana was also part of the current Netflix reality TV hit - Terrace House. Terrace House is a reality series – which revolves around the lives of a group of young men and women living together in Tokyo.
