Adventures in Substitute Teaching (EP 9): Newport Harbor, TeWinkle, College Park, & Whittier (NMUSD)

Filmed from January 30 - February 3, 2023. This subseries is specifically to chronicle my journey AFTER Student-Teaching life, wherein I was still substitute teaching here and there, but focused on student teaching. In total, I student taught math for 602.5 hours. In December 2022, I completed the credentials program at Vanguard University of Southern California and was issued a full math credential from the CTC on January 6, 2023. I began the Master's Program on January 9th, also at VUSC. If all goes well, I should receive the M.A. in Education in Spring 2024. In late 2023, I published my 2nd book about my ENTIRE journey through student teaching, substitute teaching, and much more. It is additionally my hope that I'll be going to more NMUSD schools (actually, every school in OCDE and beyond) to speak, juggle, encourage, and motivate students, staff, and families. I passed the CalTPA Cycle 1 in May, followed by Cycle 2 in November, 2022. I earned a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Vanguard in May 2021, which followed an Associate's in Chemistry from the nearby OCC, a couple years prior. I'm excited and well prepared for the blessing of this future of mine and am seeing an ever-brighter light at the end of the tunnel!
