In 2016, Hokkaido Shinkansen started being operated to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. With this new open, the network of Shinkansen connected the Honshu and Hokkaido Islands. Hokkaido Shinkansen is the sector from Shin-Aomori to Hakodate while it is called Tohoku Shinkansen between Tokyo and Shin-Aomori. This time, I took a train of HAYABUSA (fastest train in Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen) from Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto at a normal seat (23,660 JPY).
