[06:01] Fresh ingredients and homemade dressings and sauces [08:45] Doherty's offers traditional Irish favorites like shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, Reuben sandwiches, and boxty. [00:04] Doherty's Irish Pub and Restaurant is opening a new location in Pittsboro The location is in Chatham County and offers a unique opportunity for growth The new location will be near Havoc Brewery and the Mod The building is a two-story shell that will be modified to match the aesthetic of their other locations [03:22] The Second Story deck in the two-story project will overlook the Pittsboro skyline. The Apex location has good buzz, drawing people from Chatham County to check them out. Their unique Sunday brunch offerings include a full Irish breakfast with rashers and bangers, and their version of eggs benedict called eggs Kilkenny. [06:01] Fresh ingredients and homemade dressings and sauces Brisket is slow-cooked overnight in Guinness for flavor Fish and chips is the most popular dish with beer-battered filet and fresh sides [08:45] Doherty's offers traditional Irish favorites like shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, Reuben sandwiches, and boxty. Other popular menu items include the brisket melt sandwich, pastrami ribbon, and turkey ribbon. Doherty's unique take on boxty involves a potato crepe filled with various options such as brisket, portobello mushrooms, peppers, onions, and chicken in a bechamel sauce. Doherty's has been in business since 1995, starting as Tir na nOg, the first Irish pub in Raleigh, and expanding to three locations including Pittsboro soon. [11:36] Doherty's Irish pub and restaurant Owned by Michael Doherty, an original partner in Tierney node, Conley's, and Doherty's Open Monday-Saturday from 11am-11pm, and on Sunday from 9am-11pm [14:14] New Pittsboro location of restaurant opening this fall Exact opening date uncertain due to supply chain and labor market Hiring from Chatham County and Pittsboro, with assistance from established pubs [16:56] New restaurant will have a main bar upstairs and outside seating with a capacity of around 130. Small bar downstairs will have seating as well. Food prep area will be on the ground floor with a food elevator. We aim to become part of the community in any way possible. Doherty's is an independent scratch kitchen restaurant with three locations, including a new one opening in Pittsboro.
