This is a 2 day trip of the LASSEN BDT that we took on December 14th and 15th 2023. We started at Highway 36 on Ponderosa Way. This is an alternate 4x4 trail. I believe the correct crossroad at 36 would be Little Giant Mill Road if you wanted to do it proper or if your car isn't up to a real rough road. We then drove to Black Rock Campground and set up camp for the night. In the morning we packed up and drove to McCarthy Point Lookout to check it out.
