After getting some practice on a drone simulator, like the DRL SIM, and trying out a micro drone you will be ready to move on to a Ready to Fly (RTF) Drone or a Bind & Fly Kit. The downside of purchasing RTF drones is that you really don't know what goes into them. If you crash, you won’t know how to repair it. That often means sending it out, which can be time-consuming and very expensive. Something like a DJI FPV drone is a lot like buying a Mac computer.
