This is an edited version of a film recording by Fox Movietone News Collection, titled "Chinese Children Sing Their Lessons". The original footage was disorderly edited, probably due to language barrier and multiple filming attempts. This version you are seeing should be in the correct order. In the footage filmed in 1929 in a school in Shanghai, pupils are learning a poem with their teacher, titled "The Blacksmith and the Farmer". It also features children singing after class.
