Για πιο λίγες στροφές δώστε πιο λίγα βολτ, σας ευχαριστώ If you ever needed to spin your grill with something else than your hand, there's a good chance you may have found many videos on youtube about spining metal axis' using a windshield wiper motor. That's exactly what I'm making in this video. I used a wiper motor onto which I attached a small socket with a 1/2" drive. I welded the socket onto the motor's axle, and used the socket's other side as a socket for the metal axle. I also carved the axle to form a 1/2" square drive, so that it would fit into the socket, and the connecting system is done. Then I attached a small square metal bar on the motor, a few centimeters lower from the axle, that will serve as a rigid point to connect with the vertical post of the grill. I idn't weld this one to the vertical post of the grill though. I welded a larger cross section square metal pipe onto the vertical post, so that the smaller one attached to the motor, will be able to fit inside. This way the motor is removable, and also immovable when attached there. Quite a simple idea, but you'll need to be a bit carefull about the angle, when welding the attachment point on the vertical post. If you connect it a bit off, it won't work that good. You may need a helper on this one. Other than that, everything else is easy. Even the feet for the vertical posts are from spinning chairs. The iron heavy duty ones. Not the cheap plastic feet. Those are very light, they won't hold the weight of a heavy grill. In case you need lower rpm, you may need to set up a system of sprockets and chain drive, or a system of gears, or supply lower voltage using a potensiometer or using two 21 watt bulbs (as I show in my next video). And that's it. Enjoy your grill. Thanks for watching, and if you like what you see, consider subscribing.
