Trans Euro Trail France (TET) - BMW GS 1200 Adventure.

For those who don't know, the Trans Euro Trail is a community that puts online authorized roads and paths for motorcycles all over Europe. It's free and really cool. For my part, I have already done the TET Italy as well as in Croatia and this summer I decided to do part of the TET France. From South to North, section 4 and one to Clermont Ferrand. I ride the BMW GS 1200 Adventure, I must admit that it is not necessarily the ideal bike for TET. In Italy, I have given up several times because it is simply impossible with a 250 Kilos monster. The ideal being a lighter motorcycle like KTM 450 or Honda CRF. But for this part of the TET France, it was almost without problem. I'm not saying that I wasn't down once or twice, but overall, its pass. In most cases, we pass in the woods on big roads without any difficulty. You have to admit that France is really beautiful! Landscapes change very quickly and it is a true happiness for the eyes. Where I am not mistaken, it is in the evaluation of the kilometers every day. I felt like I was standing still!! Don't be too optimistic in your calculations and take your time! A piece of advice, if you have the possibility, don't hesitate to do the TET Section 15, you're going to get a real eyeful! ----  Another great Adventure Off Road Impressions sur une partie du Trans Euro Trail en France entre Gras et Clermont. Cette partie est tout à fait faisable avec un Big Trail meme si j etais au tapis une ou deux fois :). C est tout simplement magnifique aussi bien les paysages que les villages. Je reviendrai pour le continuer! On cherche parfois des aventures au bout du monde et bien souvent, on a tout ce qu il faut devant la porte.
