We then visit the peaceful Pandras Village before reaching the Kargil War Memorial, a place that reminds us of the courage of our soldiers. Our journey continues to Mulbekh Village, where we explore ancient temples and see the impressive Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh Monastery. As we drive higher, we pass through Fotula Pass, the highest point on our route. We then reach the historic Lamayuru Monastery, surrounded by the unique landscapes known as the Moonland of India. The road trip also takes us to the beautiful Leh Sangam View Point, the mysterious Magnetic Hill, and a cozy homestay in Leh where we experience local hospitality. In Leh, we taste the traditional dish Kholak, visit the Leh Palace, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Shanti Stupa. We also explore the charming Stok Village and the Namgyal Tsemo Monastery before driving to the stunning Pangong Lake. The trip ends with a breathtaking sunrise at Pangong Lake, a sight that perfectly captures the beauty of Leh Ladakh.
